Facebook Integration Instructions

 Here are the steps to integrate your AspNetDating based site with Facebook. The integration allows one-click login with a Facebook account and it also imports the photo and basic information.

1. Create account if you don’t already have one
2. Confirm it
3. Go to http://www.facebook.com/developers/createapp.php to create a new application.
4. Enter a name for your application in the Application Name field.
5. Accept the Developer Terms of Service, then click Create Application.
6. On the About tab you need to upload icon and logo for your site and click the Save Changes button 
7. On the Web Site tab, notice the generated Application ID and Application Secret. You need to copy them to your web.config file.
   1. Go to your website top-level directory and open the web.config file.
   2. Find the setting tags with names Facebook_API_Key and Facebook_Secret_Key.
   3. Put your Application ID and Application Secret values between <value></value> tags as shown:
               <setting name="Facebook_API_Key" serializeAs="String">
                   <value>Put your Application ID here</value>
               </setting>
               <setting name="Facebook_Secret_Key" serializeAs="String">
                   <value>Put your Application Secret here</value>

               </setting> 

8.  Enter your Site URL e.g. http://www.mydatingsite.com. 
9. Click Save Changes
10. Click the Advanced tab. Disable the Sandbox Mode (if enabled).
11. Click Save Changes
