Enable gmail as SMTP server

The current configuration doesn't allow for gmal smtp servers to be used, because they require "enableSSL".

We've added that to the web.config and to the email.cs, but I think that it should be set as an option in the settings (e.g. "Use Gmail as SMTP server : YES" & "GMAIL Username : myuser@gmail.com" & " gmail password..)

GMail has several restrictions when it comes to SMTP and is not really suitable for such usage.

Some of use Google Apps for our corporate mail so yes it would be a great option.

I agree, because then this absolutely limits us to using inferior mail servers, without half the functionality of gmail. How hard is it to add the enableSSL feature anyways?

I have gmail setup with my dating solution, don't use gmail smtp though! Use Mandrill as your smtp but you can still use gmail.
